Peoples Republic of Cool runs a day skate camp during the school holidays.
Ages 6-15+ boys and girls are welcome.
Rental gear is available although it is advised to BYO skate gear.
Bike helmets are suffice for beginners.
Skateboarding and inline sports are excellent for fitness, a lot of fun, learning balance and great for building a child's self esteem.
Location is the SMP Skate Park, the world's biggest skate park.
Food and drinks are available on site although there is limited options during the week and we advise bringing a sandwich.
For the parents there is a MegaFit Gym on site with pool and facilities for parents including free wireless.
Camp bookings essential:
The Jiangwan park is the best location for learning from beginners to experts. It is located 10 mins drive north from the Wujiaochang intersection on the ring road. Driving time approx. 25mins from Pudong and 40 mins from Gubei.
DIRECTIONS:
Park is at the far end of the green zone along Songhu Rd.
If you happen to miss it and reach the end of Songhu Rd, U-turn and come-back 1 block.
